| In May, Ashley embarked on a real life adventure; traveling to the African continent to volunteer, teach, and travel. For 5 weeks, she immersed herself into Kenyan culture, teaching primary school students English, math, science and physical education. She then traveled to Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. Climbing Mt.Kenya, going on safaris, and gorilla trekking are some of the activities that she did while there. Traveling East Africa was arduous, however, it was the most incredible experience of her life. |
